This is a photograph of the glass plate after it has been fired. Where the glass powder was placed, there is a grainy texture, but still transparent. We can see a hand through the plate, holding it up.

This is a photograph of someone holding up a small, flat, circular glass cell in front of some tall green plants. The cell has a nucleus in the middle and some ER and mitochondria, too.

This is a close up photograph of part of the glass process. The artist has carved into a plaster disk and filled in some of the carved areas with glass powder in different colors.

This is a process photo of a large glass circle on a papered table. The circle has smaller fragments of glass arranged in a design and other areas have been covered over with glass powder. The overall design is of several cells from an EM image.
