Hi there! I’m Mol, an artist & planarian biologist in Kansas City. In school, I studied Interactive Arts and explored ways to communicate biological concepts through interaction by using CNC technologies. Now, I’m working in Alejandro Sánchez Alvarado’s lab, uncovering the cellular secrets of Schmidtea mediterranea, a special flatworm with the ability to regenerate. I use SBF-SEM (serial block face scanning electron microscopy) to build 3D models of the cells in these animals. Click to see some past & current projects.
